Spring Break

Mobile Planetarium and so much more at Galesburg Library during spring break.
Spring Break

The Kalamazoo Air Zoo is bringing their Mobile Planetarium to the Galesburg-Charleston Memorial District Library for two shows – 1:00 pm and 2:15 pm – on Friday, April 6, 2018.

Explore the Milky Way! Our solar system is brought down to earth as students view the planets in the portable STARLAB planetarium. Young astronomers act out the movements of the sun, moon and Earth to describe the patterns of night and day in this out-of-the-world adventure.

This is a free program best for children ages 6 – 12. Space is limited and registration is required.

There are several more events during the week for all ages:

Color & Cookies – Tuesday, April 3rd (1:00-3:00) – Color a beautiful springtime bookmark while you enjoy a yummy snack.

Game Day – Wednesday, April 4th (1:00 – 4:00) – Don’t be bored this Spring Break! Bring a friend (or three) to the library for an afternoon of board games. We have lots to choose from, or bring your favorite from home to share.
